WELCOME

Hello,

 

Welcome to the wonderful world of Kitchen Sync Catering. Although this is a relatively new business, the Kitchen Sync brand has been around for over 10 years. Initially I made jams, dressings, chutneys and mayonnaise and sold them all over Australia in food stores and grocers under the Kitchen Sync label. It was a fun side hustle and I learnt a lot, but restaurant life took precedent and I stopped production, kind of.

 

Although most of my career has been spent in restaurants I have always done catering for friends and family when the occasion arrived. I had my own little business when I was 20 that was ticking along quite nicely but I knew deep down that my full potential could never be reached being self taught. So at the age of 21 I started my apprenticeship at Rockpool Restaurant in 1996. A golden age for restaurants in Sydney & an incredibly exciting time to be in hospitality. You could say that I've been hooked on hospo ever since but I was actually hooked as a child of about 9 helping prep food for my Mum who was running a catering business in Kalgoorlie! 

 

Kitchen Sync Catering being born was only a matter of time & we're so pumped to be here to share all the knowledge & experience with you through Cooking Classes, our Newsletter, Socials & especially delicious food at your events!
